JOB SUMMARY
As a Senior Site IT manager you will manage the information services function for either a Mega site and/or multiple site locations, or a campus environment, potentially in differing geographies. The Senior Site IT Manager will have Site IT Managers and/or IT Supervisors reporting directly into their organization with responsibility to design, develop and deliver key IT strategies through effective leadership and resource management. Will have overall ownership for the full delivery of all IT services that exist to support complex business operations by demonstrating strong and mature leadership skills within the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Drives the provision of a high quality IT service across all operational and support areas within an operating campus or across multiple site locations.
? Responsibility for leadership development within their IT function and ensuring the full execution of succession planning and mentoring activities at site level.
? Overall responsibility for financial forecasting and cost management of multiple sites and/or campus IT function.
? Takes ownership of escalations with IT delivery teams to ensure that site requirements are embedded in project plans to support agreed service levels and expected capability.
? Builds and maintain strong relationships directly with Operations, the business units and external customers on a multi site and/or regional level basis.
? Collaborates with Site IT Managers/Supervisors to effectively deliver services to end users align with current and future IT strategy.
? Enforces and follows all procedures and policies within IT and the company.
? Participates in internal audit programs and drive non-conformance issues to conclusion.
? Builds and maintains strong relationships directly with operations , the business units and external customers
? Collaborates with internal IT teams to effectively deliver services to end users; provide feedback and improve process with Internal IT teams.
? Lead s IT efforts on Merger &Acquisition (M&A) in country activities
? Identify, track and manage key operational risks to the service, providing strong coordination with the business, IT and Operational Risk. High attention given, but not limited to, business continuity, IT audit requirements and software compliance
? Drives metrics management and performance of IT support and services with a focus on a data driven continuous improvement approach.
? Drives alignment between the sites managed in order to leverage resources and be cost effective.
? Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by superior.
? May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Typically reports to IT Director.
? Job is directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management). Job title example(s) of employees directly supervised: Site IT Manager, IS Supervisor, Application Administrators, Business Analysts, and Project Manager. JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
● Demonstrated leadership and resource management experience particularly in managing managers
● Significant experience of working with ITIL and Lean Six Sigma processes
● Interpersonal skills in working with the customer, management and technical teams in a “self starter” role
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Effective presentation skills
● Strong attention to detail
● Experience of delivering SAP services and Manufacturing Execution Systems in a working environment preferred
● Experience and good exposure in the area of EMS, Material technology, after Sales Market and electronic design industry
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Information Technology/Computing Science or Business Management. Master’s in Business Management preferred.
? Minimum of ten (10) years work-related experience required.
? Minimum of five (5) years management experience required, with previous experience managing a large Information Technology Group in a multi-national company.
? Lean Six Sigma qualification preferred
? Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
