Job Description
Responsible for providing IT onsite technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software. Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution.
Typical Duties
§ Perform daily support of personal computer hardware and software, IP Phone, mobile device video conference, printer, projector, and other peripheral.
§ Provide troubleshooting of all workplace hard ware and software, computer, phone, mobile device, video, printer, projector.
§ Follow and perform Capgemini BSv IT Assets management process to store, track and secure all IT and Capgemini asset.
§ Perform installation and configuration of Windows image, MAC OS, and other computers,
§ Fulfill Capgemini IT asset management and comply information security policy.
§ Logs relevant incident/service request details per help desk procedures
§ Resolves and closes incidents/service requests as per help desk procedures & allocated timelines
§ Escalates unresolved incidents/service requests within agreed timescales
§ Ensures tickets are always updated until issues are resolved
§ Communicates with the leads and managers regarding incident progress
§ Support for various ad-hoc initiatives / projects / audits /asset inventory / VIP requests
§ Support onsite New Hire Onboarding, Coordinates with Provisioning and Depot for hardware repair and swaps.
§ Be flexible and take initiative to anticipate user needs, able to deal with irate clients.
§ Special events coverage and Other assigned duties.
Technical Skill List - Must
§ Familiar with Microsoft Windows desktop OS and Office application.
§ Familiar with INTEL compatible hardware, various of laptop and desktop PC
§ Familiar with popular peripheral equipment and facility, such as MFP, projector, etc.
§ Familiar with Video conference setting and troubleshooting
§ Familiar with the most popular mobile device and application, such as iOS, Android and windows mobile based.
Technical Skill List - Preferred
§ Familiar with Microsoft server product knowledge, such as AD, share point, etc.
Qualification
§ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field. 2 years related work experience is necessary.
§ Technical support experience in SysAid service desk and onsite support.
§ Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
§ Proactive, organized and able to prioritize tasks. Able to multi-tasks.
§ Ability to quickly gain knowledge and understanding, Strong problem-solving skills.
