Summary
？ We are looking for a Big Data Architect with at least 10+ years’ experience to create reference Big Data Architecture platform, evaluate and recommend appropriate Big Data technologies to clients, and take a leading hands on role for implementing the solution
？ This is a leadership role and will involve discussing business strategy, interacting with customer C-level executives to showcase thought leadership
？ This role also needs a ‘doer’ who can train in-house team on new technologies, new business processes, and create a reference reusable model
？ The role requires working closely with sales teams to help in winning new projects and training delivery teams to implement the proposed solution
？ The role is based out of Guangzhou. It may require international travel in line with the client’s business direction and growth plans

岗位职责

Responsibilities:
？ Define our PoV of IoT and highlight how new technologies are disrupting the existing systems
？ Create reference architecture for IoT technologies and integrate this with the sales presentations
？ Evaluate multiple technologies and create our solutions for client recommendations
？ Build an end-to-end proof-of-concept using latest IoT technologies which can be demonstrated to potential customers
？ Train in-house team on the new IoT technologies, sensors activation/ deactivation, and architecture patterns
？ Define the entire technical development lifecycle, including tools to be used, deployment mechanisms, and production environment monitoring
？ Take bottom line responsibility for technical pre-sales support and ensure customer accepts the technology recommendations
？ Assist with impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions; looks for additional solution options or trade-offs
？ Assists in technical strategy, engineering process review and implementation solutions using third party tools/software as well as standards definition and review
？ Work with the project manager to provide estimates, work break down and completion dates
？ Create technical design documentation and support development
？ Serve as a key hands-on contributor in the software product development life-cycle, performing analysis, driving software architecture and design, development, and integration
？ Continuously evaluate application architecture for potential performance &, design improvements and refactoring opportunities

任职要求

Required skills & qualifications
？ BS or MS in Computer Science
？ Minimum 10 years of experience in delivering enterprise platform solution
？ Hands on experience in implementing IoT technologies and proposing IoT solutions
？ Hands on experience in SMAC (Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud) technologies
？ Proven hands on skills (either AWS or Azure cloud)
？ Proven hands on skills (.NET, Java, or Open Source)
？ Experience in working on reporting tools such as Tableau
？ Excellent analytical, development and debugging skills
？ Outstanding communication skills, fluent in English, fluent in Chinese (Mandarin)
？ Industry Certification will be a big plus
